November

Welcome November! Can you believe we are in the 11th month of the year already? The year has flown by. The season is changing to my favorite time of year. I love the crisp mornings, the fall colors, the thought of warm and fuzzy clothes.

this month is going to be very busy with travel and company and of course the start of the holiday season. This week Mark and I are going to visit the kids in Arizona. It’s Mark’s first time traveling since we moved. I am anxious as we have to board the dogs and they haven’t been boarded before. Of course the place we picked is like a hotel for them with walks and playtime scheduled. We haven’t seen the kids since March so it will be nice to see them all.

Halloween was a bit different for us this year. We had trick or treating in the town square on Saturday and we went to our favorite brewery to hand out candy. It was weird though that we didn’t experience the door-to-door version. Instead we went to a pow wow in town. It was very interesting.

this week we shut down the pool. Summer is officially over!
